Noisey leaf springs
1970 C30 1 ton. Sometimes when I make a hard left turn or drive over a dip, I hear a loud snapping sound like a bolt has snapped. Seems to be coming from the leaf spring. Anyone else experience this? Thanks for the help

Re: Noisey leaf springs
I'd personally look at all the a-arm and leaf bushings, first. Then, see if you can bounce it up and down enough to duplicate the noise. It being a 1T, that may not be possible.

Re: Noisey leaf springs
Do you have a Detroit locker? They get pretty noisy like that. See if there is a NoSpin option on your spid.
