Re: stopped by the local yard today......

the last 2 . My batteries ran out before I could grab a shot of a c/60 -61 with a 348!
We just lost around 30 of these trucks,at another wrecking yard, that closed its doors for good on the 22nd. unfortunatley there were 5 64-6 suburban/panels there. I managed to save a 61 cab, and a 61 bbw roof, and a bunch of random sheet metal, but they are crushing everything that was left.

Re: stopped by the local yard today......

Donovan deciding to close MAS is probably the biggest loss the NW has seen in a long time. just shut the doors and scrapping everything. Their yard had twice what the yard pictured here shows. It's a huge loss. I used to go walk around for hours every few weeks. The other yards just didn't have the selection or were priced un reasonable especially Collins. Sad sad turn of events.

That looks like Kelly's yard just south of Arlee. I've walked that yard a ton and there's a lot of stuff but the good majority of it seemed pretty beat. of course it's been a year or so since I've gone that way. There's a few gems hiding in the hills outside of Alberton if you can find the guy that owns it to let you in.

If you truly want to go, and want someone to split gas, let me know. I may be able to get away. BTW I have free use of a 24' box van whenever I want to use it. I am in Marion County about an hour from you. Jerry
