1970 c10 - a fresh start

Here is my 1970 c10.

My dad has this truck since 1980. Its been a big part of my life.
He decided to sell it and i couldnt let him do it.
So i sold my 1986 bagged c10 to pay some bills and get a start on the 70.

I have a new hei distributor, alternator, vlave covers, booster/master cylinder and all parts to rebuild the drum brakes.

I am not sure if the gauge cluster works, i plan to replace it but need advice on the lmc cluster with tach or is the dakota digital a better piece?
Is the lmc tilt column good or is there a better column for the money?

Also, whats the most economical way to rebuild the doors? (felts, rubber, etc)

I plan to use this as a daily driver. I need some friendly advice on where to start and how to spend the 3000 i have wisely.
