Bummer 67 day.

Kinda bummed. I am a member of this site and have loved every second, minute, or hour I have spent here. I am just an average guy who loves old trucks of the Chevrolet variety. I have to let my 67 go. I tried to post it for sale here first for any near neighbors who might be interested. When I went to post it for sale in the classifieds it would send me back to the start page. I posted a message on the site help post and have not had a response. Liz, where are you? It is now in front of my house for 4 hours and the phone is ringing off the wall. $500 for a 67 with five hole ralleys, front disc brakes, turbo 400, block numbers from a 76 vette (serious, I know about the "vette" options joke) power steer, rusty cab and totally drivable. It is going to go without the help of this site and all of the bs I heard from people trying to sell without being a paid member. If you are near Boonville MO and would like to chat about it call me 660-882-537-6874 as I can't post it here for sale or anywhere here on this site. Membership paid Davesride

Re: Bummer 67 day.

I tried for a couple of days and then quit when others posted during waiting period. It's not like I got a porno picture up for sale. Although a sweet 40 year old would be nice but it is an old truck. I wish could keep her but she is taking up space that I can't afford. I just wanted to offer the truck up for sale to truck people here before I sold it to a stranger. I guess everyone is strange. So am I. Dave. Call me when I'm sober. Still is 500

Where are you in Missouri? I was just in Joplin yesterday and am in Oklahoma still. Let me know how close you are to Oklahoma or the Joplin area.

Houp, he's in the central part of Missouri. Just about 30-50 miles from me.

And by the way.... what are you doing this close without saying hello?

That's a pretty good guesstimate.

Re: Bummer 67 day.

im right here and dont recall hearing from you to know you had an issue.. sorry

There had been sporadic issues since the server crash and apparently the classified system is borked. we have no reason or time to moderate pics sorry there is an issue, but truth be it works for me, i have no error codes etc so i have nfc what to look at. Josh will be looking at it tomorrow.

good luck with your sale

Re: Bummer 67 day.

Thanks Liz. It might go by FRI if not before just from window post on truck. My bro from the site is on it and we got some other "hook ups" from the phone. It's all good. I just could not get it to happen with the typing thing. It sits on the street and and as you know has a want me look all by itself even as rusty as it is. It's all good. Thanks for the reply. Cash is in hand. Sorry to all who wanted it. Nice to talk to you Nate. Thanks Liz. I live on a high traffic street so it is never a problem to sell something. I'll be around, David.

So you went off into a rant about selling it on the board, somebody agreed to buy it, and then you sold it locally anyway? Either way, good deal on the truck.

I've seen unpaid visitors try to sell and get the boot. I try to sell and get rejected. Dang, I was just trying to be curtious. I know I can't list it on main page.

My point was that crashpro agreed to buy it, and you sold anyway. Its your truck, you can do what you want, but it just seemed wierd that you went out of your way last night to offer it to someone on the board, and then didn't give them the opportunity to buy it. I guess it doesn't matter now though.

HI!!!

I thought you knew I was going to be out here for the Hogs N Hot Rods meet, maybe not. If I was thinking, I could of let you know we were coming into Joplin to take some photos, we could of met up for lunch or something. I seem to come up with the good ideas after the fact.....
