WIW 305 and turbo 350

I will be parting out a '71 Cheyenne/20 long bed. I bought it for the cab. It has a running 305 from a mid 80's caprice and an original turbo 350 tranny. Transmission shifts nice and smooth. I will try to get some pics in the next couple of days.

The engine may be tough to sell. My guess is $3-500 if you can find someone that needs it. I'll be waiting for the pics though, I know a few people that are looking for parts. How's the driver door? Any options?

Re: WIW 305 and turbo 350

my guess is $150.00 each for the core charges. you lose a lot of selling leverage when the items are out of the truck and the buyer has to assume that either one will need some freshening up, if not full rebuilds

I would say pay to have the tranny rebuilt if you choose, which can be done for cheap and probably sell the trans for 500 bucks. 100 bucks as is. The 305 you will probably have to give away.

Both doors are junk. Front fenders may be good. I will have to make list of parts that are good.
