Re: For MMA fans (especially in TN)
That is really cool. My oldest son is into MMA fighting and just had his first go round. I couldnt go in person, but they put the match on youtube. I couldnt watch him fight in person, someone would start choking my baby boy and Id have to go out there and go all MOMMA on them. Good luck darlin!

Re: For MMA fans (especially in TN)
Yeah, it's kind of hard to hit them when you are face down on the mat with the other guy sitting on your back wearing the back of your head out. I'm sure in the split second you were there you thought how the heck did I get in this mess. When I was young I came home battered and bruised enough from just going to the bar, I didn't have to get in a ring with somebody that had nothing on his mind but whopping my butt.

Re: For MMA fans (especially in TN)
My oldest son used to do this. He went from a partier drinker to being very serious about fitness when he got in to fighting.
He has pins in his wrist and a bunch in his ankle, sometimes you need to know when to tap out lol. He doesnt fight any more, I do believe he still trains some. I think since he has a family now he decided he needed to be completely stable in his life. He has really gotten into hunting though as his new hobby.

Re: For MMA fans (especially in TN)
lol..I use to be partier drinker too...I actually lost 16lbs leading up to my fight just by changing my diet and working out 7 days a week...So it is good to be in shape again but im just not done...Im at 182lbs right now so my next fight will be at 170 instead of 185.... Its rough and yeah you need to know when to tap... Ill be 30 in a week so I know I wont be able to do this forever. Its now or never

Re: For MMA fans (especially in TN)
I was in a tournament last December. Fought in four different bouts. First bout was point karate,lost..second was gi jujitsu,won...third was no gi jujitsu, lost and the fourth was a brutal kick boxing match, won, but my opponent broke my rib with a Mi Geri ..front kick. Four months of fun. I am almost 50. My competing days are over...I think.
Kudos to you. Posted via Mobile Device |
