Front coil springs
I purchased a set of 1" drop coils on the board recently, and believe they are actually 2" drop. Reason being I swapped them in place of my current drop springs (which I am pretty sure are 2" drop) and the height stayed exactly the same. These springs measure 12 3/4" in length. Anyone have a measurement of an OEM length coil, or a "known" drop coil for comparison? There are no markings on these and I'd like to pinpoint what drop they are exactly. In any event, I need to go up an inch in the front and will be listing these on the parts board for trade for what I need...which will be 1" drop coils if these turn out to be 2", or OEM length if these are 1" drop. Here is a pic. Thanks in advance.

The length of the spring is only part of the story though. The spring rate is the other. Makes it tough to ID a spring.

I just measured my stock big block spring and it measures 12 3/4"

The spring rate is how much the spring will compress when you load it. That being said, with all kinds of spring lengths the compression will make it a 1", 2" are 3".
It's a crap shoot as to how much drop you will get from a spring and even worse from a used one. Without knowing the spring rate and how much weight was put on it to begin with. If they had this spring on a truck and had a big block in it it may have compressed it to a smaller rate even though you can't tell it.

The pair that you were sent were compared to the other set of 1" drop springs and the 2" drop springs that were in my ad. They matched the other 1" springs. Also, I checked measured height and compared that to measurements found online. 1" coil springs were ~12 3/4", 2" coil springs were ~12 1/4". With that in mind, and them being in the 1" drop spring box, I believe them to be 1" drop. With all that said, if you send them back, I will refund your money.

Thanks for all the info, I figured it would be a crap shoot. I have 2.5" drop spindles in front with a 7" drop (5" springs and 2" blocks and c notch) in the back. With these springs installed my front end is alsmost touching the ground, so I thought they were a 2" drop. If they were a 1" drop my front end should sit higher than the rear
 I have no idea what the rate is on tees springs there are no markings. I have no problem with their quality or anything, just too much drop for me. I guess I need stock springs then  I really don't want to send these back and waste more shipping costs, I would rather trade for what I need. Thanks again for all the input!
