Re: Poor picture of another odd conversion

I'd like to see more of it , especially if it was a production vehicle in another country.

Re: Poor picture of another odd conversion

That picture in on Jalopnik and the headline is "Why South American Truck Culture is better than ours"

However that doesn't look like any C-10 or Veraneio I've seen

Re: Poor picture of another odd conversion

These are definitely factory built. They built a few bodies GM never offered in the USA in Brazil. If you want to be amazed just Google "Brazilian Chevy Trucks". We've talked about these trucks many times over the years

I'm pretty sure I showed some ads somewhere in this thread (found it: page #3 post #59):
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...w+us+your+lits
The ones in the picture are built differently. They may be from a different market. Notice the one below has no driver side rear door

Re: Poor picture of another odd conversion

I'd bet it's factory also. And there are guys turning crew cab long beds into crew cab short beds over on the 73-87 side of the house, looks like a modern truck. Here's a somewhat similar contraption I saw at Pomona - had a crowd around it.

That loos like a blazer with a half cab made from a truck cab, the wheel wells looks to close to the back of the cab to be a truck

Re: Poor picture of another odd conversion

Looks like a nova rear panel. These are factory, just not "our" factories. If the truck the thread was started for is a conversion, what would they have converted? It's a unibody too short to be a Suburban and too long to be a K/5, and the side door work would take extensive work. The next question would be why go to all the trouble and expense when you can buy a Suburban?
