Hey Tony,

Whats the distance from the bottom of the frame to the ground with those wheels? 5"?

You have any pictures of the fenders or bed on? Would like to see how far those wheels are tucked up in the fenders.

Thanks

Motor looks good sitting in between those frame rails! What did you do with the heater core? Did you have to rebuild it or did it just need to be freshened up?

Re: Goldfinger nachos big brother

Hey AJ,
On the air box I take them apart and lightly sandblast the outer I pull the fan motor and blast the out side as well then i clear coat the out side of the box and paint the motor gloss black. I then add a new aluminum heater core that you can pick up for about $20 at the local parts store. Thats how they come out looking new…

Hey AJ,
I didn't see the second part to the question. The motor was a low mile crate motor that the previous owner had installed. I was lucky that it was in such great condition. It had jus been sitting for some time. It cleaned up quite nicely. Keep in mind , our whole intention with this build is to do it on a budget and recycle as many parts as possible. Theres a lot of time in the details, but the satisfaction comes in seeing the finished product. Thanks Dude…

So nice to see a fresh painted firewall that is NOT satin black!
Makes everything under the hood pop.
Well done on the detail work!

Replaced the rusted out tank and fuel system. Brakes are dialed in and to roll. this truck is almost ready to hit the streets again.

This is the plan for the 1972 P-10 that you see in the background. I'm going to build a food truck out of it and take it to local events on the weekends. The I sea is to put by to boys to work aged 16, and 8. With all proceeds going to their education fund. Not only will it help with that cost it will help build a strong work ethic for my buys…. here are some examples of the direction we plan on going. Tony

Hey Tony, how's Goldfinger coming along? Also, did you start a thread for the boys build? I'd like to keep an eye on that one! Might do the same for my little ladies. They love trucks!
