Wow been awhile! Planning on getting back at her here. I had been working on our bathroom and it turned out to be a complete gut job due to the age of the house. First time tiling and took twice as long as i planned on but got it done and the misses is happy so, enough said.
Been working on trying to get the doors squared away and aligned. Word to the wise find good oe doors, the after market ones suck! Have had to cut out both hoops and finally have the drivers door perfect, passengers is going to need alot of work. Might hav to cut the bottom rear of pass door to get the back in with the cab corner. Couple pics.

Exactly on keeping the ladies happy, plus the room for two keeps me happy! You joke about the doors mike 3/8" glass, heavy and very high anxiety till they were out of the garage in the room and installed with no broken glass or tile. Made me loose some more hair of my head.

Nice truck. What kind of welder r u using. Have anyone seen a truck bed that is lower than the rest of the beds I mean from the wood to the top. I was thinking of shorting the bed. If so what does it look like.

sounds odd, I've seen floors raised to allow for trucks to lay frame on the ground but that's it... the sky's the limit and you are only limited by your skills and imagination....

Depending on job either a tig or mig. Like msgross, options are endless.

Not huge progress but something i have been wanting to do. Had to measure, drill triplus doors for mirrors. Wanted to use original style mirrors but like the look of the peep mirrors. Cut 2.5" out of the arm to bring it in and tighten it up a little bit. Have 5" mirrors but might get a 4" one with the rings/ribs on the back intead of the lines.

Subscribed and it's almost scary! Came across your avatar on another build and thought "cool, another small window on steelies!" Walked on over for a look and got to your bathroom project. Wierd, we used almost the exact same tile too! Your build is really cool and your metal work is fantastic!

That is funny it is a small world. I have found that automobile people have a lot incommon outside of the hobby, i guess it is a mindset. Thanks for compliment, have not been able to spend as much time working on her as i would like. Was hoping for spring but goal keeps slipping further into the future.

You're gonna re-do that seam sealer right? The here-and-there cab seams look good but I think you put it on way too thick on the drip rails. Mine suck-a$$ and I haven't painted yet - still jugglin. TAPE is the key man. Run a line on each side of what you want sealed and where you'd like it to taper off. I used "brushable" from Napa (4201) and pretty much just squirted it on there. You can smoosh it back and forth with your finger (latex glove) until it's way in the cracks and you're kinda satisfied how it looks then use an acid brush (flux brush) with some thinner to lay it out like you want. Pull the tape and brush some more. I'm fixin to do my doors here soon and am going to do a video to put up on my thread.

Thanks, it seems like one thing after another keeping me away. I had ortho on shouldrer so now im looking at febuary. This has actually been a good thing because i have been hanging out on here a lot and has really got my fire going again!

Had time today to work on the truck and was able to get some small stuff done. Had a piece of 308ss sheet from another job and figured i could make a shroud for my electric fans. Got all mezsurements figured and layed out. plan on cutting out holes tomorrow and take to my buddys monday to shear and brake.
