Re: Senior Project Build

Have you tried wiggling it all around? It took alot of effort with the pry bar to get all my motor mount bolts in, trying to get the engine and everything lined up for teh bolts.

PICs or GTFO

They are a little farther off than that, although I don't want to drill so I will look at it closer and see if any of it can shift. I did post a pic

Re: Senior Project Build

That intake and those headers look awesome! Almost makes me want to go carb'ed on my LS1 project (whenever i get back on it). I just noticed you are in Oregon. You should cruise that baddog to the PIR cruise-in when you get it driving.

I have never bought any body parts for my truck, and all the engine parts I buy are for LS1's. I have good luck on Ebay, craigslist, and this forum

Re: Senior Project Build

Looks sick. I'd track down those coil pack covers that the other LS member has (orange motor block...) and toss those on, even with out the coils. Just give the motor a totally new, old schoolish look.

And make folks really go WTF when they see it.

Re: Senior Project Build

Thanks guys! Texan, what covers do you speak of? The edelbrock ones that look like old school finned valve covers? Those would be cool but spendy. I like the look of the coils sitting out there, Eventually, they will probably get upgraded to MSD coil packs, but they are like $700
