Re: 17 years ...

Happy Anniversary! You've contributed a lot. Dang, it sounds like such a long time and I'm just a couple months shy of Kingsolver. Working on 15 years myself! I always thought of myself as coming late to the party, too. Life was very different for me than now, those first couple years. Oh them changes, they keep on coming.

This site sure has changed since then, hasn't it? Not just now compared to then, more like several phases. Things like what guys were doing to their trucks back then compared to now, to opinions, to waves of new members, to expanding into several message boards, and much more.

Re: 17 years ...

CG, to think, we probably have 17 yo board members! If you get some flack you can just say "hey kid, I got posts older than you!!!".

I'm just a pup I guess only 13 years logged but I do still claim to be a poster on an original message board, which had an orange background IIRC? circa 2001. I am 39 for reference. Glad to see the same folks still around, only forum I've ever seen like this one. Cheers // Leevon

Re: 17 years ...

Seem like just a couple of months ago that I came here. I lurk more than talk.
I have met my members from the NW over the years. The first guy was Leroy. in Nov. 2001. I feel that I am fortunate to have made some good friends like CG.

Re: 17 years ...

Weird, I still had more brown then gray in the picture Dennis haha!

That was a fun weekend out at the inlaws farm. I think I even rented a port-a-potty for that one. We had a BBQ and my inlaws even came over to the barn to enjoy the food. Both have passed now and my nephew purchased the farm. I don't think that old bunker where we are standing for the pic is long for the world. Really need to get my stuff out of there lol.

Re: 17 years ...

I'm working on 15 years now... Garsh! I've had my '72 K2500 18 years, too. Lots of changes over the years. I was in my late-40s when I joined and now a little over a year from Medicare
