Got the slosh tubs mounted in. Time to align the fenders now.

Re: 1970 SWB : Porterbuilt to the Extreme "Double E"

I took the day off of work yesterday to get some work done on the bed. I got it ready for a good coat of epoxy in the morning and shot it later that afternoon. I am still trying to determine whether to use seam sealer for the transition between the bed and the tub or if I should use body filler.

I'd think filler. It's fully welded isn't it? Not really a seam to fill.

Seam sealer is good if you're not fully welded... it doesn't react to moisture like filler would. IF you are fully welded I'd say filler. It's easier to smooth out.

Thanks guys. That's what I thought too. It is definitely welded solid. The tub is welded in fully on the inside and the outside.

Haven't posted in quite some time. I've actually drove this beast 3 times in the last week. Even made it to a cruise in. I have lots things to button up still. But it is at least roadworthy and getting looks.
