There is a Henry Rifle Commercial that a guy is throwing out everything that is not made in America. Watch and see what's parked in his drive..... GMC truck. I don't know the year but maybe a 70....

I just saw an Ameritrade "Surprises" commercial, the one where they hand the guy triplets. It looks to me like the weird yellow car has a 69 Chevrolet grill in it. I've watched it a few times and wondered if maybe I just have trucks on the brain...lol Tell me I'm not crazy!!

Not a commercial but definitely anachronistic - in the first minute of the movie "True Confessions" (Robert De Niro and Robert Duvall, 1981) Duvall is driving a '59 Plymouth Fury and listening to a radio newscaster talking about John Kennedy's latest speech - the camera shot is from the passenger seat looking at Duvall and beyond - you see him drive by what looks like a late '70s truck and then by a '67-'72 truck....they're blurry, but unmistakable.
BTW the movie is excellent and well-worth watching. |

I know its not a commercial, but I was watching NCIS Los Angeles this evening and there was a 69-72 fender leaning against an old shed in one of the scenes. Very unmistakable.
