If you haven't heard about this site it's a good one if you're looking for what movies have which cars.

It's possible I've posted this around here before... I can't remember.

Re: Post TV commercials you see with 67-72 trucks in them

Does anyone remember the chevy truck commercial from the mid 90s that featured a 67-72 truck. Best I can remember it was a 71 or 72. It was a very long commercial that showed how the truck was a part of the family. The father and son were playing catch and bust the headlight out of it. Thats about all I can remember. It may have had Bob Seger singing Like a rock. Ive searched and searched for it but have never been able to find it.

Here's one from Canadian Tire. Looks like a 68 short box in the driveway about 8 seconds in.

Not in a commercial but this past Monday night ( March 3rd ) at the beginning of the TV show "The Blacklist " there is one of our trucks, dark green longbow with the lower front drivers side moulding missing, driving, then stopping on a supposedly rural road in Pennsylvania. I wonder if was a members truck that was rented for the show.

Not a commercial, but a movie made in 1972 - The Honkers. James Coburn starred, mid -west rodeo story. A lot of old trucks in that movie. I remember near the end of the movie, there were a few 67-72 GMC /Chevy trucks lined up in a dirt parking lot. Pretty cool...

The newest Lowe's commercial has a 50th Anniversary sitting in the driveway of the house at the end of the commercial. It is the newest lawn equipment one.

It's very similar, but there are a few differences, the main ones being Luke's truck had sliding back glass and the correct marker lights on the bedsides (the truck here has neither of those things).
