Re: 1958 LS2 with C4 front and rear

Thanks guy's...

It's going really well and am making some great progress but there is still a long list of things to do . I want to have it together and on the road for fathers day.....But there is so much left to do.

But the rear now has a small C notch that will still fit under the bed.....and everything is sucked up as high as I can go with out really making it crazy.

Re: 1958 LS2 with C4 front and rear

I forgot to point out the air bagged tucked in there....
It's not a big bag and the math says ( depending on what rims and tires i run ) that it will bag down so that he rocker is about 4" off the ground....I didn't want this project any lower then that.....But it's not all finished yet so I don't know for sure yet....

Re: 1958 LS2 with C4 front and rear

I have the new power booster in now....most of the brake lines done....Steering is just about done now....new harness is about 20 percent in....bags are almost completed....wood kit is stained and ready to go in

Have to do yet
Fuel tank...fuel lines...compressor mount....air tank mount....battery mount.....intake for the LS.....Wire the LS....figure out the AC...actually I need to figure out the entire front pulley set up and power steering to make sure it all fits in...need to figure out a seat.....
and all the rest of the things that are going to show up....

Re: 1958 LS2 with C4 front and rear

Well it's getting closer and closer.....we borrowed some wheels from the corvette from across the floor to see how things would work out. The pattern was right and we thought the offset might be close....

Re: 1958 LS2 with C4 front and rear

Well ...

This is what a tire trial looks like....We just couldn't wait to see what tires on it would look like....so it couldn't go on the ground because the air bags weren't good to go ....

If it's like my C4 setup there will be a little rake in the rear, but it will be easier to adjust with bags. I think that looks sooo good!

Okay so the wheels aren't excatly mine just yet....I kinda borrowed them from the Arc Audio SEMA corvette...We thought we could get a idea of the offset and they fit excatly perfect and I love the way they look....So the vette is getting a host of upgrades and I am dealing on the wheels as we speak...18" rims....10" upfront and 14" out in the back...I so dig the look.
