Re: Roadster Project

Okay, finally got some time to make a little progress. I had to completely re-do my door posts because I made them a little too square and they need an angle so the door clears at the rear. Anyway, I finally cut-in the door latches and strikes. This was a total pain in the butt because of how the door is shaped. But actually, the placment of the latch is kinda cool because it sits even with the edge of the inner door. The strike was easier.
I found these door latch releases. Here

Black with yellow and orange flames. Flames will be at the upper body line, real streamline front to back.

Re: Roadster Project

Here is a few other pics. One is the inner door and the door post re-done. One is the inner strike, and the door shut and latched. The last ones are the windsheild and cowl that was requested.

LOL, naaa...not even close to what yours is going to look like. My flames are only at the top of the body line and only takes up 6" total, from front to tailgate. Most of your front end is yellow, mine is still mostly black. My flames are waaay different than the ones in your drawing. Small and tight, old skool type. Anyhow, my flames are "now" going to be yellow / lime green with lime interior.

Me likes!

I now have a 70 LWB (95% rust free) sitting in my side yard waiting for a conversion
Once I get a few other projects rolling under their own power.

Kevin, I dig your flip thing. I only wish I had seen your flip thing before I spent $700 on the steel to make my rotisserie.

For a blazer you need just what you built! I will be getting one as well but I will go with the pre made one you see at all the good guys shows. Not enough time to build everything my self if I ever want to get a few of these projects done
