Love the diamond steel floor pans. I'm going to be replacing some pans in a baja i have might look at doing it that way. Did you make a template out of something or just by measuring? Neat idea...

Re: Project "Doom-Buggy" Early '60's Buggy...

Thanks for checking to make sure I'm still alive !!!

I still have this project, and MANY others.

Currently I'm trying to finish one at a time.

I have been slowly collecting parts to build a nice engine for it.

I am trying to finish the 62 Burban to Roadmaster Frame swap, once that is on the road, I'll be back on the buggy

Yeh I know how that goes, I have a baja bug waiting on me to do a motor and stick a cage in it, maybe I'll see you at HH in it sometime.

Re: Project "Doom-Buggy" Early '60's Buggy...

GUYS !!!

The Doom Buggy Project was sold to a nice gentleman who drove 19 hours from Colorado to purchase it.

He works with kids in his shop to build cool stuff, and keep the kids involved and out of trouble .... I was really glad to hear that !!

His plans are to build an ALL ELECTRIC, AUTO-CROSS style buggy with a massive hi torque motor.

Hopefully I will have him update THIS thread as time goes on !!!

Glad it went to a good cause !!
