Re: The hindenburg

Dino bought this one so that he can haul all of his truck building tools and parts around. It will make it som much easier when he finds another 66 sitting out in a field to just do the build right there and then hit the street with it. Why waste time trailering it back to the shop when your shop is with you at all times.

Some options to consider, one of those RV awnings to have portable shade with drop down walls to close it up, and a small AC unit to keep you cool while you work. A gun rack to keep a weapon handy to kill snakes. A gas fired welder/generator (we don't need no stinking outlets). An internet wifi hub so you can do updates for us (your fans) while you work and so you can order parts (yes I want the shockwaves delivered to the corner of hwy 70 and county rd 3. You can't miss me. I'll be working in the portable shop in the field on the SW lot). A pit bike, something to get you around to other parts trucks in the area without having to break down the shop (Joe, did you see that green 64 a couple miles south of here? Go see if you can pilfer the gauge cluster and radiator support). One of the tool box doors MUST open to a fridge. And a slide out grill should be in there too (a man has got to eat and have a frosty beverage to fuel his build).

Can't call it the Hindenburg and not paint flames on it (...Oh, the humanity!), just don't paint the swastika on the tail,,,not cool.

Re: The hindenburg

no disrespect, but I find this hilarious, what a change in ownership will do for the profile of a vehicle. I posted a link to this vehicle on this board back in early July - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=532361 - not one response it and now everyone seems to be salivating over it.
Glad that you got it Dino; it should prove interesting

Re: The hindenburg

I think we are most interested because we know how dinos trucks turn out... I thought I had seen that somewhere before too, now that I see your post I remember it.

Were you able to get it around the corner? Or did you have to bevel the corner of the house?
