The rears are from a 2009 Suburban, and the fronts are SECOND row seats from a 2012 Suburban.

Thanks buddy. Sits quite a bit differently than last time you and I set the body on. No surprises this time either.

I was looking at this on mine yesterday and it looks like I'll be in the same boat with my ITB stacks and the master, and may even need to recess the firewall for the number 6 stack.... So I am going to look into just moving the master to the frame under the floor and avoid the situation all together.

Yeah, I briefly considered switching to manual brakes to suck the MC back to the firewall another 6" or so....but the truck manifold will work great once i cut the flange off and weld and elbow to it

Sounds like you have some thinking and planning to do on yours!

Yep, because if I go under the floor, I want a trapdoor in the floor to get to it. I seem to remember No-Limit making something like that, need to talk to Rob I guess.

Got the battery mounted last night. Should keep it tucked up out of the way in an area that would otherwise be wasted space.

Very nice sir! It appears we both need the same right rear section fixed (sexy dent). It gives real nice character but I think I should fix it. Hope mine turns out a fraction of how nice yours is.

With the 5.3 I would assume your running the 1.10 a/r turbine housing for a quick spool? Either way VERY nice!

Plans changed awhile back. Its not a 5.3 anymore, the engine in the truck is an LS3 headed 6.0 LQ4. It's the 1.32 exhaust side.

Been bouncing around to different tasks on the truck, to stay moving forward.

Hung the passenger side fender on, and put the inner fender in to determine turbo location.

Fabbed up a bracket to hang the turbo off the cylinder head and the PS exhaust manifold.

Started on some of the hotside plumbing. Didn't get too carried away, since I'm still waiting for some parts to show up in the mail.

Decided to call in the troops on Saturday. This thing has to make a 700 mile round trip on May 17. The clock is ticking.
My brother and father in law

My buddy Brent

My dad

My brother finished up the complete transmission and engine harness, as well as the fuse block. Talk about a clean setup...but it should be, since he designs wiring harnesses for a living.

Brent was a man on a mission building the turbo merge. Basically started from scratch and started hammering away to create a masterpiece.

Finished the brake connections

Also finished the steering

I'm kind of a fire extinguisher geek ever since my '69 almost burned to the ground in college. So, a HalGuard Halotron 1 fire extinguisher is mounted within easy reach

Are you concerned at all about the lag? Seems like a huge turbo like that would take a lot to spin up.

Damn... that is a BIG turbo. I had to look twice at that first pic of it hanging in the engine bay; thought maybe it was photoshopped for a laugh.
