The bed looks incredible ,nice job.

As far as the motor goes I personally would go with the SBC and just put a 700R4 behind it.

Truck looks fantastic! bed floor is a work of art, cant wait to see this truck in person!

GO LSx for sure..big power that is daily driver reliable.

I would use this opportunity to bring the truck "up to date" with ls power. For the trans the 700r would work just fine, or if you wanted to spend some more money on tech you could do the 60/80e.
