Nevermind, I found it on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Marine-3M-DI-...ords=3M+DI-NOC

SWEET!!!
Yeah that's the stuff. I ordered it directly from metrorestyling.com.

Re: Project Cannonball C10

I did something special for the Vintage Air install on this truck. Ended up going with an A/C Bulkhead from II Much Fabrication and EZ Clip lines which greatly simplified the actual install. It also allowed me to move the heater control valve to inside the cab for a cleaner look.

Re: Project Cannonball C10

In this cab we decided to go more race car and switched over to a Wilwood pedal box with balance bar, and triple M/Cs on the firewall

Re: Project Cannonball C10

Since this one was so custom I just put together my own wire harness using an American Autowire Highway 15 fusebox.

Wes fabbed up a nice mounting bracket to go around and over the pedal box so the "heart" of the wiring is all in one place including fusebox and Dakota Digital control box, and I used Deutsch connectors so its all nicely removable.

I also switched to using relays for the accessory/ignition power circuits so there is no heavy gauge power flowing through the ignition switch.

Re: Project Cannonball C10

The interior pieces were all dyed SEM color coat in a custom mixed color.

And I had Finish Line interiors here in San Jose stitch up the bench seat off the custom aluminum frame that we built. This is wrapped in Ferrari Tan Leather with Porsche Madras Brown tartan inserts.

And for the finishing touch we used RJS 4 point "street racer" harnesses attached to the stainless roll bar.

Re: Project Cannonball C10

I've gone back and forth a lot on the color scheme for this truck and could never quite decide on something I know I would like for the long term. Then we started considering vinyl wrapping. I know this isn't something that you see too often in the classic truck world but I think it might catch on. So we sprayed the truck in GM Frost White to serve as a good base for some of the schemes we have in mind.

First up is our "artistic interpretation" of the '79 RPO Z77 sport edition graphics package..

Here is are some rendering ideas done by the excellent Kevin Stickel aka DigitalC10.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: Project Cannonball C10

Is the Porsche Madras Brown tartan inserts just the custom cloth that came with the buckskin interior or is it a similar Porsche material. Funny, because that wouldn't be the only parts match with a Porsche on these trucks.
