I struck Gold again!!!! 1968 Custom

I love it when I find an ad on CL that has no pictures and very little description. usually when you roll out there it turns out to be a complete pile. Not this time... 1968 1/2 long bed pick up from the original owner... this thing was parked for quite a few years. A little tune up , hoses belts and fluids. She came back to life. 78,00 original miles.... Oh Hell yeah!! I was stoked to get this baby home for a closer inspection. Little to no rust. With tons of Patina. First thing first, lower it down 5/7 add 4 wheel disc. drop the 3 on the tree for a th400 something classic like some satin black finished Torque thrust 20" on all for corners. Killer seat cover and tilt.... Boom thats all she wrote. 68 Super Kustom will be back on the road. Just a light wet sand and buff the heck out of it and I'll be good to go.....

Thanks Rene, you know this truck is so solid and straight. It had a camper on it from when it was new. That why it has such low miles and minimal wear...

Yeah I live a couple of minuets from Old Town. Auburn is a great place to live. Some of the cool trucks that you've see on this site came from Auburn. I've found quite a few truck and pass them on to members on the board... everything is for sale...

My grandparents lived there for many years. I have a place farther north off 49 so I pass thru often. Another good place is the mexican place in old town.. I've seen some of your other finds that you posted....nice to know you pass some on and don't hoard them.. Can't wait to see how this one looks after clean up and freshen up....

You got that right. I used to ride around in the back of a 69 long bed when i was a kid and always loved the style. Thats how I got into them....
