Re: 1969 C10 SWB - Big Block project

Bed wood is coming along nicely The plastic film is still on the strips, and of course its not bolted down yet.. but

We wanted a really deep mahogany color, it really responds to the lighting. It should be nice in the sun for sure.

Re: 1969 C10 SWB - Big Block project

A little progress from the paint shop yesterday. The jams have been painted along with the cowl cover and cowl. The cowl cover has not been cleared because the shop found a blemish near one corner. It will be resprayed, then cleared.

The fenders have been painted on the back side, but were in the booth drying so I didn't get any pictures of them. More to come soon... we hope.

Re: 1969 C10 SWB - Big Block project

Thanks for all the nice comments guys.

Chad and I have been really busy with life's little set backs, but we are ready to get back on the truck now.

Some progress from the paint shop. The Corvette Speedway White has been painted on the roof and below the belt line. It looks really sharp!

These pictures are right out of the gun and will be wet sanded once the BMW Ontario Gold has been sprayed.

We have been collecting parts for a while now and have 3 big Rubber Maid containers full of really nice stuff ready to go back on once she's out of paint prison.

Stay tuned...
