Totally Giddee Awesome. What a beautiful restoration. Don't fret the cost of the restoration. 1959 facotry V code V8 Custom Cab short fleetsides easily command $60k to $75k these days in the class of your restoration and history of the truck. What will that 2015 Silverado be worth a year from now too compared to the investment quality here?

Great job and effort from your people at Lindner Chevrolet. You have earned the title SEE THE USA IN YOUR CHEVROLET!

Mark- The cost really wasn't a factor. Myself, the body shop manager and our office manager figured we would be right where we ended up within a few thousand. The boss though we'd be in and out for $25k. Still, we know it's going to have lasting value compared to anything new. We got it covered by our insurance for what we have in it so the boss could take it to the wedding, but we will get it professionally appraised. This way we can insure it for the right amount.

Thank you for the nice comments. Thanks too all. I'm sure I'll have some better shots of the truck from the weekend at the wedding. The boss's wife is a hell of a photographer so I am expecting some great hi-res shots.

Great build! I'm sure it was an exciting break from the regular dealership work. Thanks for posting...

This truck looks really amazing. The color looks really different in different pictures is it more blue green or more green?

Re: One Family '59 Apache, new shop truck.

Wow a great story and a great resto-project. Its just too bad that the original owner and his Daughter are not present to see it again in its original glory! Im sure that she, even with her memories of it how it 'was' would really appreciate what it looked like when Her "Daddy" bought it brand new!!!!

To both of their memories -you guys did a great job!
