Re: Engine Clean up

Is the plate perimeter with a crossbar ? NX ? Setup single or dual stage ? Have you left on dope yet ? Which hits harder the crossbar or the flush ? looks like the only way it can spray is all or none .

Re: Engine Clean up

The motor makes 430 to the wheels. The first hit will be jetted for a 100horse hit and the second stage for a 200hit. I am hoping to use both stages at some point down the track.

I have not left on the bottle as I haven't made it back to the track yet. Truck is apart.

The plate in the pic is the perimeter+cross bar plate. I actually sent the plate back and they are sending me a dominator plate. This is pretty much the kit http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Here is a better pic of the plate

Re: Engine Clean up

Wow cool plate . Wait till you leave on a 100 shot . You'll be hooked . You get that thing to 60' under 1.50 and you'll get the rollbar speach .

opps , you already got that speech , I see it in your sig now .

Re: Engine Clean up

I have a speedtech plate for a dominator that I want to sell. Then add a fogger for the second stage.

Re: Engine Clean up

ok.. TB finally came in today.. Also, I switched out the 4150 plate for a dominator plate. Was like $19 more or so.. Also, NX's customer service rocks.. I mentioned I was using this in a 58psi fuel system (LS1) and they had me send the carb jets back and set me ones for my fuel pressure. Let's just say the NOS kit I was going to use, when I spoke to their cust serv department, I'll never order from them again!!!

Re: Engine Clean up

Thought I'd share a few more pics of the intake setup I am switching to.. I also marked on both the intake opening on the Super Vic and Vic JR that I have with the Felpro gasket to give you a better understanding of the port differences. Hopefully I don't loose too much bottom end. But then again, the 4,900 verter probably won't care..

What fuel rail looks better? The black one ot the Edelbrock one?

I know I need to do something about the valve covers..

Here is what the gasket looks like against my heads.. Also looking down the intake port while sitting on the motor:

Here is the height of this set up:

Re: Engine Clean up

Not sure if I get what your asking.. But it's the same long block that was in it for the 11.95 NA pass and 11.28 small hit pass. It's just getting a new intake and a different N20 system.. Sill need to put it back together.. The intake required gasket matching the heads. So I pulled the valves out and opened up the first 3/4" of the intake port.
