well that is a special device used to hold my steering wheel.



Got a bit more done today, and still goin... Mounted in the pedals and connected them to the clutch and brakes hung the special pipe but realized i am missing the cpp kit to connect to the steering gear.
Got the brake booster installed... Hopefully i can get some more done tonight.

yea, there are a few mistakes, but overall i am happy with how it turned out considering the conditions I am painting in and the zero experience I have.

yep! here they are!

been putting in some long hours the last few days,

• clutch linkages all done
• got the brakes all done
• did a bit more detailing
• got wiper motor and stumps in
• cab mounts in
• steering column in

even started on some wiring, but that may take a few days... i was really scared of it, but I got a full wiring kit from American Autowire, and seems well laid out and pretty cool so far! I am even gonna get courtesy lights now!

Well dont speak too soon, it's not done yet! I have plenty of work to complete that may involve screw ups yet!



Well been hitting it up with the wiring still, what a process, I added a lot of electrical things on this truck, gonna be a huge drain on the alt and battery.
Putting in dual electric fans (using a speed controller), electric fuel pump, all the electrics for the air ride and E3 leveling system, air compressors, full bank of gauges, adding courtesy lights, new sound system and subwoofer, MSD 6AL2 so there is a bunch more wiring with a 2 step rev limmiter, i am sure there are a few items i am forgeting, but i am tired of terminating ends and soldering, slowly, its getting there. The AWW full electrical kit is a good one, but as mine is a '67 and they dont have a kit just for them, i noticed there are a few times i had to modify things, by no means a plug and play harness, simply changing to a newer version of dash switch arrangement would have helped tons.
But its getting there, i am about 1/3 of the way done electrical.

been having some progress, not as much as I need to, but getting there.
did some more wiring, but this is an old photo, I also have the wiper switch and choke installed:


also re-did all the mounting for my temporary seat I will be using for this year, I took my original seat to a local upholster and he sold his business off and tossed it out in the process because he lost my number and couldn't contact me to notify me to at least pick it up. so I will be using this sweet off colour blue '88 chevy seat from our broken down farm truck. seat was actually perfect, but I burnt 3 holes in it now with my welder, a few splashes went onto the foam when I was welding it upside down, well that stuff went through the foam and cloth faster then free falling. once its done I will paint the brakets and take the seat to the car wash then install it.. not even gonna bother cleaning up the welds.

I slammed that baby 3 inches!! used some angle iron and rebar for support

well I had this idea for a while now, but am putting it into action, I was originally going to just widen my wheel well tubs, but as it still wasn't going to be enough, because I had to hide the pumpkin coming though the floor and also decided to put my air compressors and battery and accuair back there in the middle, I decided to make it straight accross and just make a lid in the middle for access.
just went out and got a few flat sheets and placed one into my homemade metal brake!


turned out good enough for me!


trimmed off the mounting holes/lip so I can connect it tothe fender


cut out the shapes of the wheel wells, so this will be my inner tub sides


measured it all up, started at one end and slowly rolled it and tacked it and it went super easy and fast!

and bang! there you have it! a straight accross tub, now I just have to cut an access hole, reinforce it, then make a lid and hinges with some gas struts and I'll have a nice functional compartment.
