Ready to go LS

I’m getting ready to pull my 454 and go with LS. My truck is a ‘69 C20 suburban with 40 gallon tank and with 2 people crosses scale at 5600 lbs. I can’t make decision between 5.3 w/4L60 and 6.0 w/4L80. It’s set up for towing, but I have no plans on towing. It’s been converted to 1 ton rear end with 3.73. Will there be a problem with smaller engine on this beast?
