Unhappy Good grief: email notifications version

This morning I just got over 100 email thread activity notifications from the past three weeks, all dated the various days that they should have been received.

So I went through and I think that I deleted them all and I have also changed my settings to not get email thread activity notifications.

I think site Administrators were doing upgrades and maintenance on the site so they were probably suspended while that was going on and were all sent at once. Don't know for sure, but that would be my guess.

Re: Good grief: email notifications version

.
My email client continually flags them as junk mail so I go through this cycle...

o get notifications normal
o slowly realize traffic has gone away
o check junk folder tell client not junk
o get notifications normal

Yeah, it was just really annoying to suddenly have over a hundred new unread emails that weren't even at the top of the list. All of those threads I had already viewed (just by dropping in here more or less daily) and even replied again to some.

Re: Good grief: email notifications version

I turned off all email notifications a long time ago. I read a lot of stuff and post some, but when I look at unread posts, I pretty much read them. I read fast, obviously.

Dale, carefully set down yer beer, and come out of the corner to check your spam folder. I bet the notifications are there.

Think about how I felt.. actually, I was just happy it was fixed. It was all email communication not just notifications that were borked.

Kinda.. was an issue (spam sent) then blocked, then fixing all that, then appealing being blocked, getting cleared, did new people, sent out to many activation emails in one hour and broke it again. Its fixed. Im still afraid to click anything lmbo
