Dad passed away.. looking for his brother.
Ok my dad passed away a few days ago and we found out last night . He has a brother and sister but we do not know where they are. I have tryed all the websites that claim search but it ends up being junk. Does anyone know a place that you can search for people that actually works. Last I knew his brother was living in mexico. But that was many years ago now. I need to let them know that he has passed away. He had a sister named Peggy Torres, but I think she had remarried a few times so I am not sure what her new last name is. They used to call me melon head. (This is in case he is a board member and I did not know and that would be something that would refresh his memory.
His brothers name was: Larry Torres (Lawrence Torres) If you can find any listings for that name in mexico please send me the results or direct me to a place to search.. Thanks very much. -rich

Re: Dad passed away.. looking for his brother.
Heres a couple of lookup places:
http://www.anywho.com/ http://www.directory.com.mx/ I come up with some in CA, AZ, & NM but I wasn't sure how to use the Mexico one.... It may be really hard if they are still living in Mexico. If you could find someone who does family history (genealogy) searches they would know where to look. Good luck with your search. LockDoc

Re: Dad passed away.. looking for his brother.
Im sorry to hear about the loss of your dad, I cant imagine what it would be like w/out mine.
You can maybe get help from your local public records for his sister, since she's still in the US. Im sure they can search for that, or maybe a relative of hers. Again, sorry to hear about your dad. |

I swear that there is a government agency that helps in situations like these.
I'm thinking Social Security Administration, or IRS I can't remember exactly.

Sorry for your loss.I hope your search is successful.Life takes us down varied paths.Even with computers,we can`t always bridge the gaps.It sometimes takes death to help us see it`s always best to keep ties than to make them.

i agree with zaba search. an illegal immigrant hit me last year in an auto accident and ran. i wrote down the tag number and got his name and with zaba search i found him in the projects of nashville instantly.

Re: Dad passed away.. looking for his brother.
Mexico has yellow pages just like here in the US. As long as he has a phone, he's listed.
You just got to have an idea of what area of Mexico he is living in. |
