Bradley's 68 LWB Build thread!

Welp. Here it is, I saw an ad on CL for a 68 LWB chassis, then saw the same ad, but for the bed they were $100 each. I offered $150 for it, he said yes. So we went ot look at it, it needs a single patch panel, a floor, a front bed panel, and a wheel well. He showed me a perfect front bed panel($50)and a perfect bed floor($75), I said I'll take em. This all took place before Christmas. We told him we would pick it up after the first of the year. We went the past Saturday and got all of it, he took $5 off because I forgot to get a 5 bill for the deal. Total: $270. Not a bad deal if ya ask me, bed, chassis, bed floor, front panel. So, here are pics of the day after we brought it home.

This will be a slow build, since my 72 I bought first and needs to be on the road first.

Nice. Now to find a cab. What year of front end are you going to put on?

Yeah, I think it needs a cab...

Whatever I can get for cheap will be the front end. So far, I am thinking about:

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/953493465.html

Or

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/972023238.html

Both 68's. I really want the first one though, maybe he'll take trades for jewelry?

Re: Bradley's 68 LWB Build thread!

Just figured out it was in a crash! Greeeaaat. I need the front 6ft of frame to fix it, or someway to straighten it.

Heh, but our tractor needs injectors, a machine job, and a head gasket.
