dana 44 to dually conversion

Ok, I put a 1995 Chevy CC dually rear in my 71 k20. I got the front extensions thinking they would fit on my dana 44. I found out today they will not. Is there a way to use the dana 44 as a dually, or do I need a dana 60? If so, I need a dana 60 with a drivers side drop so I can use my 1995 tcase.

What to do?

Doug

Dodge uses extentions that bolt on to the factory studs and they are the same bolt pattern.

Re: dana 44 to dually conversion

Are the dodge extensions a larger diameter than the chevy extensions? Thats the problem I'm having is the chevy extensions won't fit over the dana 44 hubs.

Re: dana 44 to dually conversion

Ok, went looking for a ford dana 60 preferable 78-79 drivers drop. I can use either drw or srw since I have both and now have a rebuilt dana 44 that i don't need. Any else change horses in the middle of the stream? That's why I have so much stuff in storage.
