Parting out 1978 Silverado BIG10 1/2 ton LWB

Hello all I picked up a rough 454 truck to steal the motor out for another project and need to get rid of what I can before I take it to the scales.

Truck was a complete running driving truck until less than a week ago. The rh fender, hood, bed, and doors all had rust. The cab and frame look good. I already sold rear glass, wheels, main dash harness (still have all the power window stuff) grill, headlight bezels, and gauges.

I have nice lh fender, 12 bolt, good working short tail TH400, dual tanks, disc brakes and suspension, dual mirrors, 454 exhaust manifolds, truck 454 pan complete working power windows and locks and most anything else you see. I can cut anything or ship anything you are willing to pay for. I am new here but use the same username everywhere including 9 years of bay with perfect feedback. You can call nights and week end but only text during the day or PM me here and I will check that night.

sure...I don't have any horn parts or button for it. The wood finish is decent with a few nicks. $65.00 shipped to your door sound fair?

$300.00 OBO shipped but thats with locks and all don't really want to split up

Its complete with harness, regulators ,relays gromets, and lock accuators. The window regulators and locks and all the switches have been bench tested. Everything tested good except one pole of the driver master switch. You might could repair it and get it working again by taking it apart. I did not try. The relays were not tested. The harness and plugs are all in great shape with only one wire I noticed will need taped where the jacket is cracked.

At this time I don't want to split up any of the windows and lock stuff unless two of you need separate parts.

It is hard to tell in the picture but how about the kick panels are they aftermarket holes for speaker or did someone cut them into the origanal panels? If they are aftermarket... what size speaker goes in there and how much? I am not interested in them if someone cut into the original panel. sorry.

gearheads78, I emailed you on ebay about the power window/lock setup. I went to our local pull a part and couldn't believe i found all that stuff in a 79! After a couple hours in the 100 degree heat, I almost wish I would of got your stuff. I'm sorry I won't be purchasing but I will def say that all that is a great deal, especially since its already removed!!

By swollen I assume you mean rusty. There is no rot but there is surface rust. The kickpnels is what I was taking about as junk. They were alreay hacked by PO. I do have the cover for the RH side if you need it. PM sent

It was a lot of work for me I my shaded garage. Screw outside with only tools I could carry to a junkyard. Nice Impala the 454 out of this is going in a 66 Caprice

What kind of overall shape are the exterior mirrors in? Is the glass OK, or broken/cracked? How much, shipped to 55448?

I am going to a yard after work tomorrow that had a nice pair last time I was there, if they aren't, I could use these.
