Re: How do you make a 'Burb look small...

Cool! How heavy is the trailer? How does the Burb handle it weight wise? What speed do you stay around on the highway? What gear ratio do you have? What engine/tranny? Helper bags or heavy leafs?
I ask all this because I'm building a 68 Burb 4x4 and want to use it for family vacations pulling a similar sized trailer. Any specs would be great! Thanks

The trailer weighs a little over 7000 lbs loaded. Handles it no problem, max speed is around 75 but I don't push it. I just stick with whatever the speed limit is. Itll drop to 45-55 on the big hills, so I just let it do whatever it wants without ramping up the rpm's to 3500+

My Burb body is sitting on a '99 3/4 ton Burb chassis so everything is essentially a factory stock fuel injected 350/4L80E 3/4 ton Burb (probably not the answer you we're looking for)

Re: How do you make a 'Burb look small...

haha! I missed this. Great job. Gives me an idea.
But... I think we are selling this one after this season and moving up to a double slide. (3 kids) haha. So, I better keep this paint scheme for now.

Haha! Never happen. Too tough to sell. Maybe on a future project.

I thought I would add a couple of shots "from the road"...

I drove up Friday morning with my little boy, and my wife and daughters came up Friday evening (after school). So, when we traveled home on Monday, my daughter (the shutterbug) was shooting some pics from the road.
