70 Bench seat - CST / Full Foam

I'm going to be selling this seat soon. I'm not sure what to ask for it? What would a good recoverable CST bench bring nowadays ? It's a pretty rare GMC 'Gold' too. Not sure if that matters.

It's not bad .. just 43yrs worth of wear and tear. It will need some minor foam on the driver's side. The only reason I took it out is to go with buckets. Your thoughts please?

Re: 70 Bench seat - CST / Full Foam

Most seats I find on CL are nowhere near this nice, and prices are $100+. Recovered seats usually run $250-300.

Re: 70 Bench seat - CST / Full Foam

The problem is I don't really want to ship it that's why I haven't formally advertised it just yet. I wish I could find someone fairly local that needed it.

Re: 70 Bench seat - CST / Full Foam

I would ask $100 if the foam was good. There old seat cover does not really affect the price IMO since most people will replace it.

Here's one for sale down in Florida that might help you with pricing.

Personally, I've had a bench seat out of a late-model Ford F-150 that I bought to put in my 72 on CL for more than a month. Started out at $50 then reduced it to $25. If it's not gone by Saturday, it's going to Goodwill.

Re: 70 Bench seat - CST / Full Foam

Nice tight foam like that is great when it comes time to recover them.
I just sold a super nice seat for $150.

still have this seat? I found many broken springs in my 68 seat and looking for something easier to recover.
