73-87 Trailing Arm kit

Thought I would post some more pics up of our trailing arm conversion for the square bodies. We have been getting more and more interest in the kit lately.

It's available with air bags or coil-overs. Kit starts at $1650.

Re: 73-87 Trailing Arm kit

Would this also work for those of us whose '67-'72s were not blessed with trailing arms and coils from the factory?

This one is specific to the 73-87..... However our 63-72 stage 2 rear deluxe kit will do the job. We have all the bracketry and components to make it a simple conversion.

We haven't tried it out on a sub. I do know that the trailing arm x-member would need to be reworked..... Just how much, not sure.

Are you going to be making a step notch version of this?

We have plans to make this kit with a mild step notch.... but if you want to lay frame it's a four-link in your future. The trailing arms will contact the frame before it lets it go all the way down. From the measurements I have taken, it looks like we can get it right around 2" off the ground before the trailing arms run out of clearance.

Re: 73-87 Trailing Arm kit

What all is included in the $1650 price? Bags and shocks to? Also is there a panhard bar and its just not pictured?

I also saw on porterbuilt that you were going to offer a basic kit for using factory arms. I have a set and a 72 rear axle I plan to use. What would the price of the basic kit be and can it be used with a set of factory rear springs. What all would be included in it for the price.

Thanks!

Give us a call to discuss pricing. We have a couple changes with the New Year.

It will work with a one piece drive shaft.

This kit isn't designed to be ultra low. It will maintain the factory bed floor. As you mentioned, it gives tons of additional tire clearance.
