New radio delete bling!

After a year searching I found me a radio delete plate for my 60 stepper for 20 bucks on Ebay in good shape minus the surface rust on both sides... When I got my truck some PO drilled 2 extra radio knob holes.. With a little elbow grease I sand blasted and powder coated it Silver with a chrome flake... What do guys think?

No just a regular gun with silver powder paint with chrome flake mixed already..

Re: New radio delete bling!

Try checking the classifieds here for parts, I personally sold over a dozen radio delete plates on here over the past couple months. You shouldn't have to wait a year to find the more common items. I see them on here quite often.

I sold a forum member a 292 and 4 speed around thanksgiving for 300.00 dollars, I had no intention of EVER using either one. He had listed in his signature line he was looking for one. He told me he had been looking for 8 years!

Just sayin.... This site is awesome for information and locating parts.

Congrats on your find it looks really good on your dash.

Re: New radio delete bling!

Yeah, Grandpa hacked up the dash when he added a state-of-the-art 8 track player back in '71 or so....
Been kinda wondering what to do..
Your idea looks great!

Re: New radio delete bling!

You know when I got my truck it had a delete plate. But I wanted a radio and pulled it out cut a hole to fit a modern radio and now I regret it. Haha I going to get the dash repair panel from lmc and one of the modern old looking radios
