I had the 3" ones. I hated them and switched to the ones you have now.

It breaks my heart when I see long beds cut down into short beds.

Oh, you wanted opinions about the chrome rings. I prefer the ones you have now.

I really thought I wanted the smaller rings, but once I had them on I actually liked the wider ones better.

Re: Opinions are like a$$hole$, let me hear yours

I can't tell you what color your truck should be, or whether you should marry a blond or a brunette. Those are your choices based on what you prefer. Just like which trim rings to use.

With that out of the way...... I would keep the narrow rings.

Thumbs up Re: Opinions are like a$$hole$, let me hear yours

Run 2 of each set on the truck and then pick. No one will ever notice it I bet! This will give you time to think about which side looks better!

You ask!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Opinions are like a$$hole$, let me hear yours

I like the ones on there. If it were mine I would really like them because they are already paid for and on the truck. I'm a tightwad that way. It was from being raised by depression era parents. My dad remembers stuffing cotton seeds in the tires on their truck because it wouldn't hold air. He was young then but that kinda stuff burns in your brain.

I love the thinner rings, even the thin 1-1.5's. That being said, I think your rims look great regardless of trim ring size!

Re: Opinions are like....let me hear yours

I'd go with the wider ones, I like them, but that's just my opinion. Oh. Wait. My real opinion is glossy painted widened stock rims would look even better -grins-. You should use the ones that look the best in your own opinion

Re: Opinions are like....let me hear yours

Lemme add this: To me, the wider rings look more period correct and remind me of what came on my '69 El Camino. But the narrow rings look lighter, fresher, retro but upgraded to a cleaner appearance. Just my 2 cents....
