Just picked up an original paint 67 gmc...

Yep, it is the one i sold recently. It had 2 owners since i sold it. The first was going to do the rockers and cab corners and spot in the repairs to keep it original... That didn't happen. Instead he cut the dash for a cd player, covered all the original paint inside the box, stuck stickers on it, put a wood wheel in it and so forth. He was talking about painting it when owner 2 stepped in and saved it. Owner 2 did upper ball joints, wide slots with new tires, new brakes, wheel cylinders, hardware kits, power booster and MC. Replaced power steering pump, water pump and some other things.
I saw it roll into a local car show and met owner 2 and got to talking. He had it for sale or trade. Told him about the Big Block project truck i hauled home from texas recently and a deal was made. Not sure what i will do with it this time.

Pic 1 is the dash in the 67 .
Here is the truck for partial trade towards it. Good solid complete truck but needs alot of work. He was thrilled with it.

Too bad he cut the radio. Other than that everything else is more easily reverse able . And I could live with the bed coating. Looks like they did an OK job. Hope you got a better deal on it than you sold it for.

Is that clear coat over the "paint"?
The big block truck was pretty cool too.

Still original paint with nothing on it. The big block truck was cool too but it has just been sitting. The new owner is already tearing it apart and calling me for parts...

Not sure why, but the guy was sticker happy. Had a bunch on the back window.

Re: Just picked up an original paint 67 gmc...

I first read the title and thought, "Didn't recently sell the one he had? Could this one be nicer?". Then I noticed it didn't say "another" and sure enough, there it is! That truck is like a homing pigeon... boomerang?... horny little dog after your leg?
