Yep, Another Newbie

I've been looking in here for a while. Finally subscribed. Great site, lot's of info.
I bought a '69 GMC 1500 LB a couple years ago for a work truck. It has a 292 and granny 4. I decided to keep the IL6 and gave it a complete rebuild along with rebuilding the 4sp and going through the whole brake system. Runs great now but needs a little TLC in the body and paint area, someday.
It's driven daily and I will be doing some upgrades in the future like power steering.
I also have a '65 chevy that I plan to build and play with.

Again thanks to all for such a great site.

Re: Yep, Another Newbie

Ok here's some pics.
When I bought it it had 96K original miles on it. Bought it from original owners grandson. It was parked for a long time, (about 15 years). It was in the elements and the paint faded from the green to silver. has a dent in the rear d-side rear quarter where someone backed into it. Unfortunately the battery leaked and I'll have to replace the p-side front inner fender and fender due to corrosion. He did have the windows somewhat covered so the interior is in good shape. I was bummed when I went to pick it up and the guy had taken a water hose to the interior to clean out the dust and cobwebs.
