Painless $100 rebate

Painless has a $100 rebate going on right now. I ordered a wire harness for my 67 truck and printed the form out from this site. I think that is a great deal.

Re: Painless $100 rebate

How often does this happen? I am not close to wiring yet, and I have a harness, but I bought it from LMC I believe (many years ago). It DIDN'T have labels or instructions, just a coiled up harness.

Having never had a wiring harness, or even a complete truck to go off of I am reluctant to use an unguided, unmarked kit.

All that to say if this happens every 6-9 months I'll get it on the next go around, it is rare I may have to jump on this....

Now AAW needs to match this offer. I'm ready to pull the trigger on a harness for my '72 and had made up my mind on the AAW 510089, but this puts me on the fence again.

Not sure how often but last time Painless did this was last year and it ended 4/1/2010. I remember because I ended up getting a kit 4 days before it ended. Bill

Re: Painless $100 rebate

Painless discount is always good. Otherwise, they are usually known as "Painful" as in the "ouch" you get in your wallet when you pry it open to buy any of their stuff.

Re: Painless $100 rebate

I ordered mine on monday from Summit. The deal was if you purchased it by yesterday and you have 30 days to have it postmarked and sent to painless. But jegs says its until june 30? not sure what thats about. Either way, i needed the kit but the 100 bucks sure would be nice.

Smile Re: Painless $100 rebate

Well the term you get what you pay for.I've seen the painless in a lot of street rods And although its works But I'm not one for splicing wires to gather and having to use my old plugs.

Now with M&H they make a full factory replacement with all new connectors and plug ends. Now I've done 3 trucks and a 3 door suburban with M&H wire harness they come with the factory gutters. All i had to buy extra was the Rubber plug's that the wire harness has to go throw the fire wall.

I tore out my old factory harness in 3 hours on Saturday. Started the next day in the morning had it in in 4 1/2 hours later 1 day you can have a new factory repop harness in a 1946--72 truck. Its all together No cut ends No splicing No soddring. They have a New 18 circuit fuse panel with the new fuses.Yes the Price tag is 850.00 to 900.00 But it has every wire connector all the Heat shroud on the temp wire if you tell them you have points or HEI they will send you the right leath of wire every time.E

very wire is wire coded with the factory wire So if you ever have a short and you have a Old mechanic book and it has the wire harness wire code you can find it.Painless dose not.So look up the factory Re-pop harness in www.truckandcarshop.com they have a good catalog

Re: Painless $100 rebate

I spoke with a lady from Painless and they are on back order for our truck harness. She said as long as the wire harness is paid for while on back order they will honor the rebate. She didn't know how long till they had them ready to send out to dealers. I am still trying to find someone that has them in stock.

Re: Painless $100 rebate

I ordered it on the 28th. I knew they were on backorder but thought it would take alot longer. Summit was more expensive, but I have a 20% discount with nothing else to buy from them right now so i went for it.
