Nice work on the paint booth. I was suprised how good the one I used worked Shown Here. I borrowed this setup from my friend. Took about about two hours to setup. It had 6 fans to push and pull the air through, kept the fog out but still had a few bugs they buff right out. If you just need a driver quality paint job, it can be done in your garage/shop. Keep up the good work!

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb

mike that is a nice booth, i have nothing on you. mine is just stapled to the floor joist, works good though. if i had to do it again i would have put some on the ceiling.
anyhow got the seam sealer done and re-primed. the gutter sealer worked good but did better on one side than the other once i figured out how it liked to be worked. not the caulking guns smart allicks! it was a heavy body self leveling sealer and worked great once i figured out how it flowed and settled. it is nothing like regular caulking and in some spots you can see that but only tall people should be able to see it once on the cab. so i dont want to hear about it "tall msgross"! no it looks good but i am my worst critic and my wife likes to call it anul which i think is a little extreme.
i had taken another day vacation to get this thing DONE and am going to see how the bugs are tonight after the little ones go to bed. the other night they were coming in for the light with only 1.5' of cracked g-door for the fan. if not plan on getting up early and knocking it out.

Nice work on the cab and it looks like the booth worked just fine. Any specs on the seam sealer? Did you just pick it up at the paint store? I still have to do my whole cab.
thanks!

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb

well here you go! not the best but tight quarters, i get some better ones when i pull it outside and take down the plastic. i am going to wet sand and have a couple of spots on the inside roof. i had a hard time keeping fuid at the bottom of the gun while standing on my head trying not to touch anything wet while holding the airline to keep of the rockers! i have to give it to the painters that do this everyday and for someone else. the only person that can get mad at my mistakes is some dummy!
