How do you find time to sleep, eat and do everything else? You have these things torn down and rolling by the time I figure out what to order off the $1 menu at McD's.

Re: The Kraken

Is that an old Ford axle with an overdrive unit in the background of pic number 2? Man you have some interesting stuff. I'm loving this truck thread but on days when you don't have any new pics to post just post some pics of your shop. There's always something cool to look at there.

Great truck to start with... I'd be happy with the "before" and am sure I'd be ecstatic with the "after". Looking forward to watching this one too...

Re: The Kraken

I used to live in Burbank.
That sort of looks like above 1st st. near Glenoaks like near Providencia. I miss it, but don't miss the crowds.
I can't believe how many signals they put on Glenoaks.
I still wish I was cruising the streets out there, but you can't go very far very fast there anymore.
Still have the California car mentality. You can take the boy out of Burbank........
Nice rig.....

Great to hear from ya Jesse, hope yur havin a great xmas. We gotta hook up someday soon, come on down for the Grand Nationals.

Coupeguy, you're close. I'm down on Palm by the theaters. I never go up to Glenoaks because of the lights, and they don't seem to help. I've been hit twice on that street. LOL.

Is that your uni-body?
My brother has a 62 that he put a 4.6 modular in. I'll see if I can find some pics of it.

Re: The Kraken

thats how the cookie crumbles.......still a considerable loss.
Look at us, how pathetic. Here we sit, waiting for pics and info, Day after Christmas, and we are needing our fix, and we KNOW the frame won't be back for a while.

Re: The Kraken

Ya the ol truck took a beating but I did fix it and sold it to a cat in Holland. The wife figured it was bad luck. She was driving and I was ridin shotgun, broke my hip on the dash. She took it to the chest pretty good but nothin she couldn't handle.
I tried workin Xmas but the wife wouldn't let me. I did however get some goodies from No Limit. Thanks Rob and the girls.

Re: The Kraken

Here's some installation pic's of my No Limit Wide Ride install.
Note: the chassis is upside down for ease of install then flipped for the rest. The air spring mount is set so the front won't be as low as designed on my chassis, anyone else would make the notch deeper into the frame rail so the mount would be flush with the frame rail.
