What you have is a short C/30, which is the longest pickup. Makes sense, right? See, C/10s come 115" wheelbase (SWB) and 127" LWB. C/20s come only 127". C/30s come in 133" and 157". Only 133" could get a pickup bed, and only single wheel. The wide beds got a 6" extension to the front to make up the wheel base difference, making an 8'6" bed. Chevys are called Longhorns. But you got a Stepside. The Longhorn was a new idea for '68. But the 1t Stepside has always been made. They only started calling them Stepsides in '58 when the first Fleetside came out. Before that they were just Chevy Pickups
