The highest point of the assembly measures 12.5" taller than the top of the factory frame-rail at the axle centerline. It is definitely a beast.

Also, the front four-link mounts and upper link bar will require bed floor clearancing.

The kit looks bad ass. My only dislike is mounting the bags over the axle, rides too rough. Making a rear mounted lift bar set up with the bags mounted half way down the bars would make a lot smother ride, just my thoughts.

I have heard this rumor of "rough ride" with the bags mounted over the axle.... I have never had this experience, and have been mounting sleeved bags like this since I first got started. I prefer a rolling sleeve over a double convoluted on the rear hands down. There are pros and cons to both, but in my experience, ride quality is not a con for mounting a sleeved bag over the axle.

Why do you prefer a sleeve bag over a convoluted bag in the rear? Ride quality?

Sleeve bags ride good in a 1:1 ratio, better then double convulated bags. But they can only be ran 1:1. The problem with them is you can not let them over extended themselves. You either need to run limit straps or use your shocks as the limiters. This is no problem if you know what you are doing. Another issue with the sleeve bag is the most popular one is an F9000. The travel on that bag is only 7.5". So if you set your car up to layout when the bag is deflated, then your ride height should be about 3-3/4" off the ground. Some might not like it that low. Also your ride will only get 7.5" off the ground then, if your laid out

The sleeve bag displaces the air as it compreses, while a double convoluted bag compresses the air. This gives the rolling sleeve an advantage on ride quality in my opinion. The cons are travel limitations, and the fact that a sleeved bag will tear itself apart if not properly limited (by shocks or straps... just as fastbagged stated). We asre getting just under 8" of travel on our rear kits, and the ride quality is exceptional.

X2 I would like to see the above stated set up for 2 reasons, ride quality and for suspension travel. (More then 8") Any chance of a non "over the axle" set up.

I have no current plans of altering the design from the current over-the-axle to a levered double convoluted. This current set-up is my preference,and is the way I would do it on my personal vehicle (if I had the time to put one together... soon.) The travel isn't a big issue to me either, the Dropmember front gets the same amount... so their would be no reason for the rear to get more lift.

I do however, understand that others tastes/preferences/opinions will not all be the same as mine. I will be offering the notch seperately so those who would wish to change it up a bit could do so.

any idea on cost of rear setup yet?. id be interested in it ya have one. also can the insert sections of the step notch area be welded in plates instead of bolted incovers?. think it might look a cleaner if your having to weld brackets anyway. thanks
