WTB 73-80 hood.

I am looking for a decent 73-80 hood in SC.. If anyone has an extra one for sale let me know.. Or I gotta bunch extra parts for the 81-87s I would consider trading.

Re: WTB 73-80 hood.

You do know the 73-78 and 79-80 hoods had one minor difference correct? The early hoods had a smooth leading edge, the later style had a decerotive rib/reveal at the leading edge. This was a big deal for me when I was looking for a hood for my '73.

I would have gone to my grave not knowing there was a difference. You learn something new every day.

I found a pic of a '75 and a '79 hood.

Actually I didn't know that!! thanks for sharing! But as long as either one will fit.. I really don't care as long as its decent.. I just hear so many horror stories with aftermarket hoods.. Id rather find a solid original.
