Project: Bodydropped 71!
Heres a project I have been working on for a few months. All work is being done by my dad and myself. It was a 71 LWB, but we cut the frame and the quarters to convert it to a SWB.
These pictures are not very up to date. I will get some new one soon! This is how we got the truck. On the way to our shop. Pulled the front end. Pulled the bed off. Pulled the cab. Pulled the motor. Last edited by p8ntballer1911; 03-10-2009 at 08:23 AM. |

Re: Project: Bodydroped 71!
Few more I found! Right now, all the bodywork on the truck in finished except for the bed. I have to wait till I build my floor so I dont melt/ceatch the bondo on fire! The front is completely bagged on Tubular up&lo control arms.
The frame is pretty much finished. I am just waiting on getting my 4link. I also just order wheels this week! I am going to be shaving the driprail in the very near feature. Maybe this weekend! Really sucks that we already did the body work on the whole cab! Last edited by p8ntballer1911; 02-24-2009 at 09:26 AM. |

Re: Project: Bodydroped 71!
Did you have to use wheel spacers for those wheels? Are you using a GM 12 bolt rear end? Very cool build. Nice choice on the Uni-body mod.
