Will these fit?

I found a sweet deal on a set of 15x8 6 lug steelies. I was wondering if they will fit my 69 2wd C10?

I have a Dropmember with spindles and stock arms. The rear is notched to lay with the factory rearend. I also plan on doing a 1" body drop. Just wondering if they will clear without rubbing the fenders.

Re: Will these fit?

Nate usually recommends a 8.5" wheel with a 5.25" bs.
Your 8" steelies would need a 4.75" bs to be a compareable wheel.

I bet your wheels only have a 3.5"-4" bs.
(which means they would be too close to the fenders)

x2.

That 8.5" w/5.25"bs recommendation for the fronts is most likely when using 17" or larger diameter wheels. 15" diameter front wheels will be back-space limited because of a-arm & spindle interference as a result of the smaller diameter wheel hoop. A 15x7 w/4"bs would prob fit.

The common 15x8 rears would prob work out back pending actual back-space.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
