lv2tri2 Shackle type cab mounts
Sorry forgot the issue earlier. I can't see why a shackle type mount is needed on the rear of the cab. Won't a mount similar to the front work?

Re: lv2tri2 Shackle type cab mounts
Don't know why it wouldn't. The shackle type mount must have been an attempt to give the cab some "give" and flex....maybe less of a shock load on the floor. Would reinforce the rear floor at the mounting location similar to the front floor.
Unless someone else can chime in and offer other ideas? |

Re: lv2tri2 Shackle type cab mounts
Thanks for the advice, Knowledge is coming from several with this issue. I didn't know until today there was a problem with the cab pulling apart in late 47 and 48 due to frame flex. I have a tube frame, so there won't be any shackles, I'll add the reinforcement to the rear cab mounts anyway. Thanks for your help
