I also got the oil pan figured out too. I tried the F-body pan, but it was about a 1/2" to long back to front. Soooooo, after a little more research, I got the Cadillac CSTv pan. It fits like a it was made to go there. It's 3/4" above the crossmember and I should never have to worry about hanging it on anything,
